Congratulations to Gareth Hibbott (England) on becoming the new 2016 IPA Blackball Individual World Champion. After a gruelling day of Pool in Bradford he ousted Craig Marsh (Wales) in the final in the same fashion he beat Ronan McCarthy (N.Ireland) in his Semi Final - by breaking and dishing in the final frame with the match tied at 4-4 in the deciding set. Marsh had earlier stormed back to win 2-1 in sets against Clint L'Anson (England) after losing the first six frames of his Semi Final. In between his Individual Semi Final and Final Hibbott secured the IPA Doubles title with partner Dean Shields (England) overcoming the French pairing of Christophe Lambert and Roger Dumortier in a nerve racking Blackball Penalty Shootout. Also a big well done to Jason Twist (England) and Deb Burchell (England) who won the Seniors and Ladies titles respectively.
